The coup leaders of the armed forces and the extremist remnants of the defunct regime continued to violate the declared humanitarian truce.
The putschists attacked with cannons and planes the positions of our forces in a number of areas in Khartoum state, in addition to the indiscriminate shelling of cannons, while the planes are still flying in the sky of Khartoum.
The putschists and the remnants of the defunct regime have been preparing since yesterday and today to attack our forces in Bahri Halfaya, Omdurman and Khartoum in the south, after the People’s Security Brigades in the uniform of the Central Reserve Police joined the putschists’ forces in Al-Shajara.
The Rapid Support Forces affirm their commitment to the declared humanitarian truce to open safe paths and facilitate the evacuation of foreign nationals, while they will not hesitate to resolve any movements of the putschists and remnants.
We point out that the putschists’ failure to adhere to the humanitarian truce is due to the multiplicity of decision-making centres within the putschists and the remnants.
