The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) condemns the continued brutal assault on innocent civilians by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF). Our hearts go out to the victims of today’s SAF attacks, which indiscriminately targeted homes, businesses, and even a mosque in al-Azhari.
Backed by members of the former regime of military dictator Omar al-Bashir, the SAF has repeatedly committed in this war horrific actions, resulting in the loss of life, injury, and the destruction of public and private property. We mourn all those who lost their lives in these acts of mass murder and pray for the swift recovery of the injured.
The RSF remains steadfast in its commitment to democracy, human rights, and the establishment of a civilian-led government.
We are prepared to provide the necessary medical care to the injured at areas under our control throughout Khartoum and urge the public to immediately report any threats to security and stability.
