The leadership of the coup forces and the remnants of the defunct regime continued to commit more atrocities against defenceless and innocent civilians at the instigation of the dark forces to carry out terrorist operations to cover the repeated defeats they receive from our forces in the field.
Today, the coup forces committed a foolish attempt to attack our areas of control in the city of Bahri. Our forces confronted them, and the remnants suffered heavy losses in equipment, lives, and a number of prisoners. They shot down two warplanes and seized 83 Land Cruisers with full equipment, and 3 armoured vehicles in good condition after the coup forces fled.
In a new failed attempt, the coup forces and terrorists began recruitment and indiscriminate arming of citizens and employees of the Shadow Brigades and the forces of darkness. We affirm that our eyes are open to any movements of these extremist groups and we will deal with them with the necessary decisiveness.
Elements of the defunct regime continued to spread rumours and misrepresented plays, portraying false victories in order to raise the morale of the coup forces.
In an abhorrent racist behaviour, the remnants forces launched arbitrary arrest and detention campaigns in the capital, Khartoum, on a tribal and racist basis that contradicts the morals of the Sudanese and the goals of the glorious December revolution, and spread more campaigns of lies and misinformation that our people have experienced for thirty years.
Our forces also monitored the escape of a number of the leaders of the defunct regime out of the country after they realized that the flood would inevitably come amid a sharp division among the ranks of the putschists because of the multiplicity of decision-making centres.
We deal with the necessary wisdom with the groups of destruction that call for the practice of the terrorist approach that is popular with the extremist group by burning Khartoum and vital sites such as the Republican Palace, hospitals and bridges linking the cities of the capital, radio, television and the airport, in behaviour that has nothing to do with humanity or with the morals of the honourable Sudanese. We affirm our firm stand in order to preserve the gains and capabilities of the Sudanese people.
We affirm our complete control over 95% of the cities of the capital, Khartoum. Our sites also witness the continuation of the collective and individual surrender operations of the coup forces. Only those fleeing from the hell of the putschists are the survivors along with the honourable people of our honourable people.
Our forces continued repairing and addressing some problems related to health services, electricity and water services in order to alleviate the suffering imposed by the current conditions on our honourable people.
