BarbaisaIn southern Omo zone Tsemako tribe Barbaisa holiday was celebrated for the first time in the Woreda Luqa Kebele with various programs.
South region women, youth and social affairs chairperson Mrs. Wolayte Bito urged for the unity of the people to strengthen and promote their culture.

Mrs. Wolayte said we should all take responsibility and work so that people’s cultural traditions are known as Ethiopia’s wealth.
Mrs. Wolayte said that the Tsemako tribe “Barbaisa”, which was celebrated as a public holiday for the first time, has been celebrated by elders and tribal leaders.
