The great Empress , the light of Ethiopia, the key figure in Adwa’s victory, Empress Etge Taytu Bitul, a monument was erected in her birthplace., Debre Tabor. The people kept their word and stopped history in its tracks.
Etege Taitu Bitul, who played a key role in the history of Ethiopia and showed an amazing leadership during the Adwa war, a monument in her honour has been erected in Debretabor city. This monument deserves respect and will be a lesson for generations to come. This monument is the result of the community’s collection of 13.5 million birr.
If you don’t remember the past, you won’t be able to work for tomorrow. Therefore, the greatness of one’s fathers and mothers is the yeast that is the forerunner of the generation. The language of the generation is not only based on thinking and remembering such greatness, but also on inheriting their example.
