The Rapid Support Forces (RSF) shot down a warplane belonging to the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) this morning near Halfaya Bridge in Bahri.
The RSF readily destroyed the SAF forces and equipment engaged in the operation, demonstrating once again the courage and determination of our valiant soldiers.
Heavy losses were inflicted on the SAF, and their remaining forces fled the area.
Let this victory be yet another lesson to the members of the former regime of dictator and military officer Omar Al-Bashir – never again will the people of Sudan allow extremists to ascend to power.
The future of Sudan will be a prosperous and democratic one, led by a civilian government that will usher in a new and promising chapter for our people.
